Iceland 4

After thoroughly enjoying the glaciers, we headed back to Reykjavik. During the last few days of our trip, we immersed ourselves in exploring the city and delving into Iceland's history. It was a wonderful few days. Sara organized a walking tour for us, highlighting Iceland's involvement in the Global Financial Crisis (yes, I'm not the only finance nerd in my family). To cap off our Icelandic adventure, we were treated to a fleeting glimpse of the northern lights on our final night. I would go back to Iceland in a heartbeat - such a warm and enchanting country.
